Classic Bruschetta on Turkish Bread Toast with Balsamic Glaze

This classic tomato, onion and basil Bruschetta mix is one of our favourites and is super simple to make. It can be served as an afternoon-tea snack, fancy entrée or party pleaser. Keep reading to discover how to make this delicious snack.

 

Classic Bruschetta on Turkish Bread Toast with Balsamic Glaze

Serves 4

Prep Time: 5-10 mins

Cook Time 5 mins

Total Time: 10-15 mins


INGREDIENTS:

4 rolls Turkish Bread

2 large tomatoes

1 brown onion

2tsp salt

1tsp pepper

1tsp oregano

10ml extra virgin olive oil

10 leafs basil

Drizzle of balsamic glaze


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Cut Turkish bread rolls in half, cutting down through the middle.

2. Using a pan toast bread on both sides, until slightly crispy.

3. While waiting for the bread to toast, make bruschetta mix.

4. Cut tomatoes in half and remove seeds using a spoon.

5. Dice tomatoes & onions and add to a small mixing bowl.

6. Add salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil and 5 basil leafs. Mix well with a spoon.

7. Remove Turkish toast from the pan and place onto a plate.

8. Scoop bruschetta mix onto the toast.

9. Drizzle balsamic glaze over the top and serve with remaining basil leafs.

10. Voila. Enjoy!
