Ultimate Steak Salad

This juicy steak salad is a quick and easy meal to make for a healthy lunch or dinner. Packed with protein, healthy fats and some cheeky carbs.

 

Ultimate Steak Salad

Serves 2

Prep Time: 10 mins

Cook Time: 10 mins

Total Time: 20 mins


INGREDIENTS:

1 cos lettuce

80g diced bacon

10g green olives

50g mayonnaise

1 clove garlic

10ml extra virgin olive oil

300g steak

50g parmesan cheese

50g croutons or sliced toasted bread


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a pan over high heat, fry bacon until crispy.

2. While waiting for your bacon to fry, slice olives and cos lettuce.

3. Wash cos lettuce once sliced.

4. In a medium-size mixing bowl, make your sauce by mixing sliced olives, mayonnaise, garlic and olive oil.

5. Add sliced cos lettuce into the sauce and toss it.

6. Grill your steak to your liking. While waiting place salad mix onto a plate.

7. Slice steak and place on top of your salad.

8. Top with croutons and parmesan cheese.

9. Enjoy!
